Lets hop right into it.
Mackenzie Hammer:
School life while struggling with mental health is very challenging. From forcing yourself to get up in the morning to having hours of homework is a major struggle, especially for teens. All the stress in rushing for school can harshly inflict mental health problems on children and teenagers.
Alexis Berg:
If mental health struggles occur for you or someone you know, there are many options for people to talk to, such as teachers, parents, or counselors to get needed help. Not telling anyone about your mental health can lead to further problems, so it’s really important to talk to someone about it.
Vivian Gearhart:
Yeah, I would say school definitely affects my mental health. Its definitely hard to balance school and tests and studying, and if you don’t know how to manage it, its really hard to balance off.

There are many forms of anxiety that can affect your mental health. There’s anxiety that causes you to get extremely overwhelmed and you cannot control your body. When this anxiety occurs, you start breathing heavily, your muscles begin to tighten, and your heart rate gradually starts going higher and higher.
Alexis Berg:
This is called an anxiety or panic attack. If this happens to you or someone you know, you should take deep and slow breaths as well as talking to someone you feel comfortable with in general. You can also give encouraging words to someone it is happening to, as well as learning how to Handel it on your own and how to help others.

Thank you Jade Marquez.
Mackenzie Hammer:
Mental health can affect many basic aspects of your life. If you play sports, it can affect your preference by slowing your thinking and overwhelming you. It can also affect your sleep because anxiety and depression or other mental health conditions will keep you up and thinking all night.
Alexis Berg:
If you lose sleep, it will affect your school and home life, as well as your thoughts and athletic-ness and make you lazy. Your reaction time becomes slow and it will lead to more and more worse mental health problems. Making sure you get to bed on time, eat properly, and exercise regularly will definitely improve your mental health. Doing things like this will definitely keep you healthy so you will have less worries and keep you calm.
Vivian Gearhart:
I would say eating properly, going to sleep early, all of that really helps my mental health.
Both:
Thank you for the information Vivian.
Mackenzie Hammer:
In conclusion, your mental health is very important and having bad mental health will greatly affect normal activities.
Alexis Berg:
Overall, you should take our advice to keep your mental health great and learn how to deal with it. I’m Alexis
