Ender’s Game is a space action book where Ender battles in a zero-gravity battlefield! Ender’s Game was written by Orson Scott Card and came out on January 15, 1985. This book is incredible due to its high level of action and activity.
Ender was 6 years old when he got his monitor off his neck. Ender is exceptionally intelligent and a skilled puzzle solver. Ender has a brother and a sister named Peter and Valentine. Ender gets bullied because he is small. Ender needs to go to a special military school to prepare for the alien invasion, trying to take over the Earth. He always gets into fights with bullies and always wins. The goal is to defeat the buggers (An alien species) and keep the Earth safe.
Ender is the commander of the team Dragon and always wins the battles, while they keep changing the rules to try to make him lose, but he never loses, which is really funny! For example, Ender’s team eventually goes against two teams all at once! Also, when he goes against the buggers, he defeats them! This made me feel the need to keep reading because of all the excitement going on inside my imagination. The book is a little slow from chapters 1 through 5 because of all of the background information, but after that, it’s terrific and picks up quickly. Some examples are when Ender gets his monitor taken off, when Ender talks with Graff, and when they talk about Peter and Valentine, which is very slow and kind of boring.
I really like this book because I personally like action books. It makes me feel good! I would say that this is the best book I have read. The author made this book so good that 99% of people every year keep reading it! The pace and excitement that builds up is really good, and I would recommend it to book lovers! This would appeal to readers in junior high to middle high school. I would say the tone is informal because of all the strict rules in Battle School / Command School. If you enjoy action books, I would really recommend this to you! Action book fans should really read it because there is a ton of action in this book. Basically, almost every chapter after 5 has exciting action parts! If you don’t like action books and more calm, relaxing books, I wouldn’t recommend this to you.
This book has lots of action parts, which are very humorous and funny, like when Ender’s team Dragon fights two teams at once and still wins! The balance of incredible and bad would be 100 good to 1 bad. Basically, every part of the book was well written and good, but some parts were slow. Not that bad! I would recommend this to people who have great imagination and just that feeling when you read action books! Because of the enthusiasm, I would give this book a 10/10!
