Why is it important to be grateful? It is important to be grateful because it builds stronger relationships, and it can calm down the nervous system. Being grateful helps us see opportunities and gifts in even more challenging times.
I am grateful for my family because they gave me life and everything that I’ve asked for. I am grateful for my friends as well because they have helped me when times got hard, and they also make me laugh and give me their food and water when I need it. The last thing I am thankful for is my doggy, her name is Blue, she is a French Bulldog, and she also helps me when I feel blue, and she is really cute and cuddly.
How do you practice gratitude, you may ask? You can practice gratitude by writing what you’re thankful for in a journal, or maybe you want to share one thing you’re grateful for with your family once a day at dinner. You can also express gratitude by thoughtful gestures, smiling at peers, and so much more.
Oprah Winfrey once said, “Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough”.
Hopefully, you enjoyed my article where we talked about why it’s important to be grateful, what I am grateful for, and how to practice gratitude. Make sure to look out for my next one coming out soon. Once again, this was Kenedi on Gratitude. Thanks for reading until next time.
