Summer Fridays is a company founded in 2017 that sells clean skincare and lip care products. Some of their best-selling products include their cream moisturizer, skin tint, milk sunscreen, and their butter lip balm. Their lip balm is now gaining more attention even though it was released in March 2020. Stores such as Kohl’s and Sephora sell the Summer Fridays lip balm. Furthermore, the lip balm is available in flavors such as pink sugar, vanilla, sweet mint, vanilla beige, brown sugar, cherry, poppy, and the limited edition birthday cake. Apart from this, some of the balm’s ingredients include three types of seed oils: niacinamide (a form of vitamin B3) and shea butter. The shea butter and the oils can help soften the lips, and the niacinamide works against the skin’s aging process speeding up. 

7th grader Amina Djaprova says that she owns 1 flavor, which is vanilla beige. She rates the lip balm an eight on a scale from 1 to 10 because she says it is “moisturizing and shiny.” Finally, she wishes the mango flavor of the balm would be released because “it would look pretty, and the color would be pretty.” Given Summer Friday’s lip balm’s newfound popularity, it is probable that its vegan formula could overtake other popular lip balms on the market to become the new IT lip product.
