As the MLB (major league baseball) season is coming to the end, the wild card match begins with the Cardinals and Dodgers. We have been waiting this long for these great teams to go against each other. But you might be wondering how does the wild card work? It is like this In Major League Baseball (MLB), the wild card teams are the two teams in each of the two leagues (American and National) that have qualified for the postseason despite failing to win their division. The two teams with the best records outside of the division champions will advance to the wild card game. The Cardinals and Dodgers game took place at 8:10 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 6, at Dodger Stadium.  Also a quote from Charlotte Brown is: who do you think will win? She believes the Dodgers will win and Cody Belinger will hit a walk off home runThe Wildcard match was very challenging, the 1st inning the cardinals got an RBI, which is the 1st run for the cardinals in the wild card game. But the Dodgers came back in the 4th inning, and scored 1 run, and so the game was tied. But in the last inning, which was the 9th, the Dodgers got 2 more runs and that was it for the wild card game, the Dodgers won against the cardinals. The Dodgers will be going against the San Francisco Giants at Oracle for NLDS, but hitting a 420-foot walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth with two outs and one on to secure the 3-1 win and send Los Angeles to the NLDS vs. the Giants. The St. The Louis Cardinals will be going home with a loss from the Dodgers in the National League wild-card game.
