Utopia, Travis Scott’s hit album. The album has been on the number one spot on rap leader boards for three weeks. It features many artists such as Drake, 21 Savage, The Weekend, Beyonce, and many more. You would think that with all these features it would be a great album but well, is it actually good?

Utopia means a perfect world, so naturally this album is about Travis Scott’s Utopia. He mentions in several songs that his god made his Utopia. Because of this, his album is very religious. The album has 19 songs and is tied for his longest album on the number one leader boards. People have been debating about if the album was good or not.

7th grader Ayden S. from Rio Norte, was asked what his opinions were on the album. He responded with “It was pretty mid (mediocre) and all right.” He then got asked whether or not other people would like the album? His response was “I think they will but only because Travis Scott is really popular though and not because of how good the album actually is.” 7th grader Ido R was asked what his opinions on the album were. His response was “I think it’s okay  but overrated because a bunch of younger people listen to it and just say it’s good.” He was then asked if other people would agree with this and he said “I think if other people were serious and didn’t joke around they would think the same way.”

These 7th graders both agree on the fact that the album is just okay, but not something to rave about. A website called Pitchfork rated the album a 5.7 out of 10. All of these reviews agree on the same thing. They all think there are one or two good songs but overall the album is ok. It is your opinion on whether or not to listen to it but Rio Norte says no!
