Urbane Cafe

In Santa Clarita, Urbane Cafe is a lunch and dinner restaurant where they have sandwiches and healthy salads. There was only one Urbane located by Stevenson Ranch and the Old Road. Recently, a new one was built right by Rio Norte on Copper Hill and Newhall Ranch Road. Here is a little bit more about Urbane Cafe.

It opened about the middle of January, making it convenient for people around Rio Norte to go, instead of driving far away. The place took over Little Caesars, and the space inside has a modern look. There’s bar stools, tables, and booths, being able to fit a family or a single person. Urbane Cafe offers both pick up and dine in. They have online tablets in the front of the store to order your food as well. The menu consists of sandwiches, bowls, salads, soups, and they have a kid’s menu and extra foods, consisting of cookies, fruit, house side salad, and a substitute soup for salad.

Urbane Cafe first started in 2003, when the owner of the place named Tom Holt wanted a great sandwich and salad place that was different from the other places. He worked with his friend named Pete in Venture to make bread, and continued to make the entire menu. He strived to have fresh everything, so, everyday, the bread is made fresh, the salad, and all the ingredients are fresh.

Urbane may be on the expensive side, but the quality of the food makes up for it. If you ever have free time, go check the place out. They’re very clean, and the food is delicious. It’s not very crowded, usually it gets the most crowded around lunch time, and with the option of both take-out and dine-in, it can help fit your busy schedule.
