Taylor Swift is a well-known artist who has won multiple awards such as Grammys and Emmys and is known for savage songs about her exes and breakups. She is one of the most well-known pop stars out there and has been popular for over 15 years. She first started with her album ‘’Taylor Swift’’ which was released in 2006 and made her famous. Some songs consist of Picture to Burn, Our Song, and many more. 

Taylor Swift was Born in 1989 which is also the title of one of her albums. She was born in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Taylor Swift is currently 33 and has a younger brother Austin Swift who is 29 years old. Taylor Swift has been in a long-term relationship with actor Joe Alwyn, 31, for about 6 years. Taylor Swift has always been proclaimed the “cat lady” and she has three cats named Olivia Benson, Meredith Grey, and Benjamin Button.

Taylor Swift has shocked the world with her new album. It’s called Midnights and came out on October 21st, 2022. A few of the song titles in the album include “Lavender Haze, Karma, Sweet Nothing, and Snow on the Beach (ft. Lana Del Ray)”. She has started a new genre of music that is more peaceful and meaningful to more fans which has made her more popular in these last few years. With this new sound, she came out with her albums “ Folklore” and “Evermore”. In her new album, she has some rock influence in her songs. A few years ago, Taylor Swift realized she didn’t have full credit for her albums, so she decided to redo her albums and which made her famous and made her fans more excited. She redid all of them but the Fearless and Red albums were most popular in the remakes. She currently lives in Beverly Hills, California. She can play the guitar, piano, ukulele, electric guitar, and banjo. Taylor Swift’s lucky number is 13.  Finally, Taylor Swift’s first album (called Taylor Swift) sold more than 2.5 million copies.

Taylor Swift’s most popular song is “fearless” which was released in 2008. She goes by the nicknames “Swifty,” “Tay,” and “T-Swizzle.” I asked 7th graders how they felt about Taylor Swift and her new album. 7th grader, Chloe Carr, stated, “ Taylor Swift is really cool, and I think her album is going to be really good!’
