The Loss of a Great Actor

On August 28, 2020, Chadwick Boseman passed away at the age of 43 after a four year battle against colon cancer. Boseman was famous for his role in the Marvel movie ‘Black Panther’, but also starred in hit movies such as ‘42’ and ‘Get on Up’.

Since Bosman’s death, it has impacted a lot of people but mainly African-American kids. ‘Black Panther’ was one of the biggest movies about African culture to ever hit the big screen. Chadwick showed black kids that they could be heroes too. Too many young African-Americans,  Chadwick represented a strong fierce black hero, he represented black pride and gave young African-Americans “hope”. Even many people online were explaining how he helped them through so much. Millions of children and adults were extremely devastated by his passing.

Boseman’s tribute was on August 30, 2020, and since that day many people are still mourning him. Many of his Co-Stars have commented on his death. Micheal B. Jordan stated, “I now understand how much of a legend and hero YOU are”. Chadwick really was a hero for many.
