How Did Baseball Get To The U.S.A
Baseball traveled from England to America by word of mouth. What I mean is someone heard of the game from Mexico and spread the word up the coast to Canada. In Canada, they would play baseball as a fun extracurricular sport, not an official sport. Hey, but I thought baseball was played in America. Well, yes, but not really. Canada was where America got baseball from. When America saw how big baseball was growing, it decided to make baseball an official sport. From there, the first official baseball game was played, which was in Hoboken, New Jersey, between the New York Nine and the Knickerbockers. From there, the game grew and grew till it was as big as it is now. Also, every 3 years, one team from each country plays against other countries to be the best baseball country for the next three years, called the “World Baseball Classic .” Baseball is one of the most beloved sports with a huge history.
