“Building dreams, one brick at a time.”
What is Lego? Well, Lego is an interlocking(connecting) brick used to build and play with. Lego was created in Billund, Denmark, during the 1930s. Lego was created by the founder, Ole Kirk Christiansen, who wanted to support his family by making money, which in this case was by launching the Lego group. The Lego Group created the Lego Creator to expand the Lego® company into different groups to be organised.
Building with friends and family
Sometimes Lego fans enjoy building with their friends and family(I personally love building with my little brother). On the LEGO site, it states that “Using the power of play, parents can turn learning and fun into the same activity”.What this basically means is that Lego can be Educational yet really fun for kids, and that can help the adult. The adult can also play with the kid and can help the kid, which is fun for both of them. It’s a win-win quality and educational time with your kid, and fun for the kids.
Facts
Did you know that the Founders of Lego® have been passed down from generation to generation from the Ole Kirk Christiansen bloodline and are still being passed down to this very day! In 2011, Lego® launched Lego Ninjago, and their Lego sets skyrocketed, making at least 100 million a year, which is great because their budget was 760 million, which means it is a 40 million profit!. In 1984, Lego® collaborated with MIT and made Lego® more engaging with electronic Lego®, and they made a million every year till this day!Why Lego helps: Lego helps by calming down your brain, just like the interview reports say. As a 7th grader in Rio Norte Shrekar Hemanth Kumar said, “it made my brain feel really peaceful”.
Why does it help?
According to the Children’s WELLNESS CENTRE, “ When engaging with LEGO®, children can be as adventurous as they want, allowing them to experiment, test out and build new ideas”.This essentially means that LEGO can expand anyone’s creativity. It can also help alleviate anxiety or stress by making it a relaxing experience, especially if you are having a particularly bad day.
Brain growth
From the brick LAB, it is clearly stated that “The graduates were asked about what consequence LEGO® may have had on their brain’s growth over the years, and quite a few of the participants answered that they found it had improved spatial organisation, creativity, as well as their concentration.

Conclusion
So in a nutshell, whether you’re a LEGO fan or a starter starting from this article, remember one thing: you can always start one brick at a time to build your creativity and brain development.
