Lebron started to play basketball at 9 years old and this was when his mom let him live with his youth football coach because his mom believed he would be better off in a stable environment. When Lebron James was in St. Mary High school he was one of the best high school players in the basketball team. He was so good in the high school team that he signed a 90 million dollar endorsement with Nike before he was playing in the NBA.
Lebron Raymone James was drafted in the NBA in 2003 by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was 6 foot 9 inches tall and he was a point forward when he was in the Cleveland Cavaliers. Another “GOAT” (Greatest Of All Time) named, Kyrie Irving, was also in the Cleveland Cavaliers with Lebron James. According to Adam Augustyn,”He was voted one of the starting forwards on the Eastern Conference All-Star team during his second season, and in his third season he led the Cavaliers to their first playoffs in nine years. These accomplishments were exceeded during the 2006–07 season, when James guided Cleveland to the franchise’s first game in the NBA finals.” But when Lebron and his team were in the finals, they lost to the San Antonio Spurs. But Lebron never gave up. He worked all the way up to the semifinals, but then lost again to the Boston Celtics. But then Lebron was awarded the MVP(Most Valuable Player), and he was named again MVP for averaging 30 points per game.
In 2009-2010 James was arguably the most sought-after free agent in NBA history when his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers expired. But then Lebron Raymone James announced that he was going to sign a contract with the Miami Heat. Lebron James helped the Miami heats all the way up to the NBA Finals, but lost again to the Dallas Mavericks. Lebron James was averaging about 27.1 points per game and got his third MVP while trying to make the Miami Heats go to the finals. And according to Adam Augustyn,”James also helped Miami win 27 consecutive games that season (the second longest streak in NBA history), and he was rewarded with his fourth league MVP award.” Also according to Adam Augustyn,”The Heat defeated the San Antonio Spurs in a seven-game series to win the NBA championship, and James was again named the finals MVP.” Then Lebron brought up his shooting by 0.002% and he also led the Miami Heats to the finals but lost to the Spurs in a five game series.
After the loss in the finals Lebron Raymone James went back to the Cleveland Cavaliers. But Lebron James had one of his greatest individual performances in finals history having 35.8 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game while bringing the Cleveland Cavaliers to their first two finals wins before losing a six-game series to the Golden State Warriors. In 2015-2016 Lebron had a strong regular season and truly shined in the playoffs. He brought back the Cleveland Cavaliers to the finals and a rematch to the Golden State Warriors in the playoffs. And because of Lebron James, the Cleveland Cavaliers is the first team to come back from a 3-1 finals deficit to capture the first title in franchise history and then ended in a 52-year title for the Cleveland Cavaliers professional sports teams. Lebron James was averaging 29.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, 8.9 assists, 2.6 steals, and 2.3 blocks per game in the finals and becoming the first NBA person to lead all five statistical categories for players on both teams in the finals, and also unanimously named finals MVP.
In 2018 Lebron Raymon James joined the Los Angeles Lakers. Lebron was averaging 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game for the Lakers, but he didn’t have that much play time because he had an injury called a strained groin for the first time ever in his career. They went back in July 2020 and the Lakers defeated the Miami heats to claim the franchise’s 17th NBA title.
