Brawl Stars is a popular multiplayer shooter mobile game created by the same company that made Clash of Clans, Supercell. It was released in 2018 but quickly spiked in popularity in 2023-2024. The goal of the game depends on the type of game mode but most have a similar basic of defeating the enemy team in order to win however, modes like Brawl Ball have you shoot a soccer ball into a net in order to win. 

There are 80 unique brawlers to play as with each having a certain role such as damage dealer and support. You can get them from special drops called Starr Drops which have a chance to give you a brawler for free or Starr Road which you can unlock certain brawlers with credits. Every person starts off with the common brawler named Shelly who has a boomstick that shoots out a widespread of pellets. Each brawler has a different type of attack and super which makes each brawler unique from each other.

You can level up brawlers in order to increase their strength and survivability. While doing this you can unlock gadgets and star powers to further enhance your brawlers fighting abilities and potential. However, it costs PowerPoint and coins to level up brawlers and buy their gadgets which you can get through Starr Drops, Trophy Road, and the Brawlpass. This makes you want to play the game more.

8th grader Micah Kim says that “Brawl Stars is a very fun game for someone who wants to have fun with friends.” Overall, Brawl Stars is a very popular game that is a great experience with friends or on your own time. It gives you a desire to have fun and make new friends. This game can kill time and be played for fun. It is a great game.
