Kung Fu Panda is a movie series that many people have watched. The series started in 2008 with the first Kung Fu Panda. Many Gen Z’ers grew up with the movies. The newest installment of Kung Fu Panda has been released on March 8th in theaters across America. Numerous famous actors voiced the animated characters such as Jack Black, Awkwafina, and Viola Davis. However, many people have been questioning how the new movie compares to the last 3.
Kung Fu Panda already has become one of the most popular movies of this month, second to Dune: Part 2 grossing around 80.4 million dollars. The movie takes comedy to a whole different level, incorporating serious battles with puns or jokes. Running for 1 hour and 34 minutes, you are immersed in the world of Po and his friends fighting against the main antagonist. It is a great movie to watch with your whole family, and it offers a little bit of everything for everyone.

Kung Fu Panda 4 is about Po and how he starts to search for the next person he will train to become the dragon master. A powerful Chameleon sorcerer sets her eyes on the staff of wisdom, Po needed help fast so he decided to team up with a thief, a fox named Zhen who he locked up for trying to steal ancient weapons. They start trying to investigate the Chameleon leading them to the Den of Thieves, it turns out that Zhen had been working with the Chameleon the whole time and stole the staff of wisdom and gave it to the sorceress, allowing her to steal the ‘Chi’, a type of power source of the other dead kung fu masters. Po has a showdown after the Chameleon’s power up and Po almost dies if not for the intervention of Zhen, who decides to quit working for the Sorceress. Po and Zhen then team up and claim the staff back for themselves, which Po then gives to Zhen which she uses to summon a dragon to attack the Chameleon defeating her. In the end, Po decides to take on Zhen as his new apprentice to train as the Dragon Warrior.
This movie was a great watch; it entertained and incorporated a ton of jokes and puns into all the scenes while still keeping the general movie serious. This movie was an enjoyable experience and I recommend it to all of you to watch and enjoy. Rotten Tomatoes, a movie review website rated it an 8 out of 10, which is a pretty good score. The best way to watch this movie would be in theaters but you may find the movie on some other streaming services to rent or buy.
