As the holiday season approaches, holiday events in Santa Clarita Valley will take off to make your season more bright and happy. Here are a few Winter and Christmas events coming to Santa Clarita this year.
One of the most popular events here in Santa Clarita is the Christmas light show called the Wakefield Winter Wonderland located between Wakefield Court between Seco and Haskell Canyon, off Copper Hill Drive and Courtland in Saugus. It opens up December 1st, hours starting 5:30pm to 10:00pm. Some rules that have been asked from the community is to please be patient, be safe and watch out for kids, use the trash cans, enter and exit safely, no solicitations (asking for something from someone) and there are no bathrooms so plan accordingly.
Another fan favorite that only lasts for a few days in the beginning of December is the ‘SCV Winter Wonderland’. This is Santa Clarita’s largest Christmas event, over 16,000 square feet that include Ferris Wheels
, other carnival rides, food stalls, ice skating, a DJ, indoor play area, a meet and greet with Santa Clause, and much more. This Holiday event has tons of fun things to do for any age. The event takes place at Higher Vision Church, only on December 1 and December 2, from 4pm-9pm. (28776 The Old Road Valencia, CA 91355). Tickets start at $12.95, but you can get an All-Access ticket for $17.95 for adults. ($14.95 for kids ages 5-12, children ages 0-4 go in for free). With
an All-Access pass, you can get free entrance, unlimited rides and activities, Christmas movies and free popcorn, and photos with Santa. To buy tickets, simply search ‘SCV Winter Wonderland’ and click Eventbrite to buy tickets.
An event that is near Santa Clarita is the Hollywood Christmas Parade at Winter Wonderland. This event has been going on since 1983. The date for this event is a one day deal, on Sunday, November 26, 4-9 pm. The address is L. Ron Hubbard’s Winter Wonderland,
6724 Hollywood Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90028. This event includes a 60ft tree, live music and family en
tertainment, the parade itself, and photos with Santa after the parade. Tickets sell fast, so make sure to look it up online and find tickets. As of November 16, the tickets are already on sale. Another place you can visit in LA is The Grove.
