While out of school with not much excitement at their hands, the students in Rio Norte could get bored without anything you’d be able to have fun with. There’s different types of games that the students can try out in their free time, yet while trying something new you don’t always know if it would be something you’d enjoy as a player in the system. Looking for the games that you would like or get recommended there would be some problems, like how much the game costs, what devices the games are on, and how to play. Before trying the games the player would need to see if it’s a genre they can handle as well. Well there’s games that you would or wouldn’t like to try so here’s what Rio’s top three games are.
The first game on the list would be Minecraft while the 8th grade student named Edyth Fritschle states, “Minecraft because it’s really fun, you can play with friends, you can build amazing structures, and it’s got a story.” People playing are able to play this survival multiplayer game that’s been created by Mojang, on a PC, Amazon Fire, PlayStation, an Xbox, and more for around 20 to 30 USD. The people playing would be able to create their own character for the world, getting to make it whatever they want it to look like. While playing you’d be able to build anything you wish, ranging from smaller builds like a shack to larger projects like castles by mining, crafting, placing blocks and using your
Picture: courtesy of minecraft .net your imagination for anything to happen. There’s different types of worlds like the Overworld where the player spawns, to the End where the player would be able to beat the game after fighting the ender dragon.
The second game in line is Roblox created by David Baszucki and Erik Cassel for the endless choice of games and the creativity the player gets while players are allowed to play Roblox on almost every device from a PC to mobile devices for free. In the game there’s online currency on Roblox called Robux which players are able to use for designing their own avatar, buying gamepasses for the games they like, in-game items, and specific games. While in the world of Roblox there are games that are related to puzzles, competitions, survival, horror, and so many more. Players are able to make new friends and talk to each other by typing into the chat box or just using their voice to talk with the voice chat if they are 13 or older. The third and final online game on the list is Fortnite made by Epic Games for its player communication, mechanics, and being able to play on all devices for free. Fortnite is a third-person multiplayer online competition game. This game also has in-game currency called V-bucks used for outfits, pickaxes, cosmetic items, and emotes. The main goal of Fortnite is to survive longer than your opponents and be the last player or team alive. After reading there should be different activities that you have in mind or new things that you learned about these three games. Once the players get online, there would be endless types of things that they would be able to do. There’s so many different genres of games you can explore and discover. Students would be able to find many different games to play with friends and family. When you’re able to find something that you like just keep on going but these are the top three games in Rio Norte that you’d be able to start with.
