The game started off with a 9 yard passing touchdown for the Lions’ receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown. This was quickly followed up with a touchdown for the Chiefs. When Rashee Rice caught a wide open pass, making the score 7-7, with 2 minutes left in the second quarter the Chiefs got the ball back. 7th grade history teacher Mr Sheridan was asked what he thought about week one. He said “I think there were a lot of surprises with teams winning and upsets. There were also a lot of injuries like Aaron Rodgers tearing his achilles.” He was then asked what his favorite team is and how did he feel about that? His response was “I’m a Raiders fan and I was pretty happy that we won, but my son was not.”
Cooper Rzewuski, a 7th grader at Rio Norte was asked what his opinions on week on were? His response was “I think it went pretty bad because there weren’t many close games and also there were a lot of upsets.” He was then asked how his team did? All in all, week one of the NFL was insane. There were so many upsets which made it so exciting. This year in the NFL will be one to remember. Who will win it all is a question everyone is wondering.
