In Rio Norte, the students here have many different types of opinions for their favorite subject, between math, science, history, and English. While the school year continues, Rio Norte has new students coming from many different schools so they’d need to know what’s so great about the student’s favorite subject. Throughout the school year the newer students would be able to know more about the subjects. The new and older students could get help to know more about what happens in the 8th graders favorite subject in Rio Norte. The 8th graders would be able to tell what their overall favorite subject is while the 7th graders would be able to find out information about what happens in science at an 8th grade level.
Even if there are other opinions, the more popular opinion would be with science. While in 8th grade science, there’s multiple subjects from different grades that students would re-learn. In the upcoming days for 8th graders, the students should be focusing more on physical subjects while they’re in the classes. The students would be starting the school year off by learning about motion. While in science class, those two concepts and many more would be taught during the students 8th grade year.
The Rio Norte students had voted on their favorite subjects which would be science for all the labs as the student named Mahlani Tanap states, “My favorite subject is science because of the labs.” Within the school year the students have to understand how chemical reactions and processes work. During the school year the students would have been studying more about gravity which could help with learning about motion. There’s been labs in science that show how motion works with the item’s velocity. While in the science classes the students would be taking notes on motion and units at the start of the school year.
In 8th grade, the students will explore what would be the more complex event, systems, and cycles. While at Rio Nortes back to school night, there’s been information that shows the students what they would be able to learn by being the scientists and engineers in the classroom. In science the students will be able to investigate real events that happen around the world along with design processes in a nine month-long study that includes life and Earth science as well as space science, physical science, and technology or engineering. The 8th graders would also learn first about energy and motion, then electricity and magnetism, and finally energy and Newton’s three laws.
While there were people that voted for different subjects, the student’s most voted subject was science. 8th grade students would be able to learn more about how the universe works. In science the students are able to learn so much with fun and exciting activities. With science the 8th graders would be able to collaborate and see what would be so fun about learning. There’s so many things to be excited about while learning 8th grade science.
