As of March 8th, 2023, the best basketball team is the Milkauke Bucks with a record of 46 wins and 18 losses, the Denver Nuggets are the second overall and first, in the western conference, their record is 46 wins and 19 losses. Both teams are leading the conference and have two of the best players on their team, Denver having Nikola Jokic and the Bucks having Giannis Antetokounmpo. Both are MVP candidates, however, Jokic has the edge.

The Western Conference is tight with the Nuggets, Grizzlies, Kings, Suns, Warriors, Timberwolves, Mavericks, Clippers, Jazz, Trail Blazers, Lakers, Pelicans, Thunder, Spurs, and Rockets. The Grizzles in second place is 8 wins behind the Nuggets but are expected to fall after the Ja Morant suspension and possibly more games being suspended after he beat up a 17-year-old and flashed a gun on an Instagram live stream. With his suspension and Kevin Durant coming back from injuries, you could see the Grizzles fall and the Suns climb up to take their spot. Warriors (the returning champion) is in 5th place, however, Stephan Curry is back and you could see them maybe move up if they play better when they’re not at home. The clippers have a good chance to rise as well but it all depends on how healthy their two best players Khawai Lennerd and Paul George are because they have been getting injured a lot this season.

The Eastern Conference is pretty tight with the Bucks, Celtics, 76ers, Cavilers, Knicks, Nets, Heat, Hawks, Raptors, Wizards, Bulls, Pacers, Magic, Hornets, and Pistons. The Celtics are 1 win away from the Bucks and the Celtics have been the top seed for the whole season however they have been losing lately and now teams are catching up. The 76ers are only 3 wins behind the Celtics and the star player Joel Embied has been playing great this season. The Nets are in 6th place and they’re expected to fall because they traded their best players Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. Kyrie went to the Mavericks and Kevin Durant went to the Suns. Both of their teams are expected to do better. The Raptors are in 9th and there’s nothing special about their team however with the nets falling down rapidly you could see them make a playoff spot easily. The Cavaliers are in 4th place and I expect them to stay there or even go up because theirs no team under that I would think could take their place. Who do you think will win the NBA finals?
