So many people around the world deal with anxiety and depression. This article will provide advice, help, and true life experience with these. You are not alone. Depression is a feeling of sadness, hopelessness, and reduced energy. Anxiety creates feelings of nervousness, worry, or dread. Even though these are both different, you can have both at the same time. These can cause people to get them due to childhood trauma or stress buildup. But you can help these thingswith the right advice. When coping with anxiety and depression sometimes you just need a break or a breather and to talk to someone. When helping kids cope with anxiety and depression Mrs. Racina has many ways first she helps kids find a way to calm their bodies down. It could be asking them questions like how old you are. They can be anxious so the first thing to do is figure out why they are anxious. When you go into Mrs. Racina, she has a wellness wheel so kids can point at what they are feeling so they don’t have to explain it. There are many ways to help kids with anxiety and depression. If you are ever feeling this way, take a visit to your counselor’s office.
Here are some other ways you can help with your anxiety and depression. It Could be thinking about where you are,
what you feel, and what you see. This can help your mind calm down and stop going all over the place. Lots of the time anxiety causes your mind to go all over the place and to be able to breathe and tell yourself it’s ok can really help your mind be grounded. Depression could cause you sad thoughts making you feel like everything sucks. But when you find ways that could help you it could make it better. When you feel like this you could maybe work out or do something physical that can help keep you motivated to keep going.
The Wellness center here located in the library is a great place to stop by and take a break. When you are not having a good day you can go to the wellness center and Mrs. Jeon can help you. She has relaxing music in the background and you can relax and play games.
