Thanksgiving is one of the best times of the year. But, right after Thanksgiving, there is a day where all people love and even go crazy for the holiday: Black Friday. Black Friday is a colloquial term for the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States. Many stores offer highly promoted sales on Black Friday and open very early, some times on Thanksgiving Day. Black Friday has routinely been the busiest shopping day of the year in the United States since at least 2005. It also happens on November 26. This black Friday is going to be on Friday the 26th of November 2021. All people who celebrate Black Friday visit different stores, for example Best Buy, Target, Walmart, GameStop, Macey’s, Etc. You also might wonder, why do they call it Black Friday? In the early 1960s, when police officers in Philadelphia began using the phrase “Black Friday” to describe the chaos that resulted when large numbers of suburban tourists came into the city to begin their holiday shopping and, in some years, attend Saturday’s annual. On Black Friday there are some stores that have the best deals like for example Macy’s, with an average Black Friday discount of 56%. With this, Macys should be near the top of your list. Kohl’s also offers amazing deals. This specialty department store chain offers significant deals during Thanksgiving weekend averaging nearly 52% this year. Some more places that would have big Black Friday sales are Val Surf and Zumiez. The sales that they have a Zumiez are, buy one get one free and buy one get one half off, and for Val surf they are having the biggest sales like if you spend $75 dollar on whatever you buy the next buy is free shipping and 50% off on the next buy. Here at Rio Norte, people are very excited for Black Friday. Lucas Nguyen is going to get “As many PBC parts as he can get,” and a new microphone from Best Buy. Shae Perico is going to get a PC from Best Buy.  The Valencia Mall is going to be open until midnight until 1am for black friday. Stores will be open from 9 AM. to 1AM.
