Halloween Candy

It’s that time of the year again, spooky season. This time of year is always the best, mostly due to Halloween. But, Halloween is not all about dressing up. The main purpose of Halloween is the candy, after all. But, which candies are the best candies?

10. Nestle Crunch

    

Made of crisped rice and chocolate, this bar is a favorite of many. It’s produced by Nestle, hence the name Nestle Crunch. The bars are very thin, but an amazing candy in the whole.

9. Hershey’s 

The well-known chocolate candies were first developed by Milton Hershey in the 19th century. They took the well guarded secret to milk chocolate and cracked it in 1900 by Hershey, which started the long legacy of Hershey chocolates.

Starburst are the small, cubic, fruity candies owned by The Wrigley Company. They come in many flavors, mostly fruity, and

are some of the most common candies given during Halloween.

6. Haribo Gummy Bears

Haribo is the most notorious gummy candy in the US. Sold in their signature golden baggies, they pack the utmost quality into their gummies. Although, if you want the best Haribo gummies, you’ll have to buy them from Germany, where the business is at its best.

4. M&M’s

One of the most iconic candies out there, M&M’s got their start when they were first used as rations during the Spanish Civil war. They are owned by the Mars Company and are sold at individual stores around the globe.

Skittles were first made in 1974 by a British company. It was brought all over the world, but there were many controversies over the flavors, and the saying being, “Taste the Rainbow”. But, there were in fact many flavors.

Kit Kat are the chocolate wafer candies that we see a lot during Halloween. Kit Kat goes back all the way to the 19th century. It was owned by a company called Rowntree’s. They sold the product for a while, then discontinued it for years. But, it was rebooted and was continuously sold for a lot longer after that.

The infamous Japanese candy has made its way to the US after many years. It has its origins from a man named Taichiro Morinaga, founder of Morinaga. They started out as small chewy pieces, which were called chewlets, until more flavors and shapes were developed, making it into the Hi-Chew we love today. Hi-Chews are also some of the most rare candies to find while trick or treating.
